Piano Information

Knabe Pianos
Established in 1837, Knabe pianos are known for their distinctively mellow and warmly melodic sounds that
compare to the lyric richness of a human voice. Specially designed and hand assembled, each instrument uses
selected wood for unsurpassed resonance and is carefully regulated to produce a consistent tonal quality throughout
the scale. Knabe was the official piano of the Metropolitan Opera house for over 40 years. And it too, boasts an
impressive list of famous owners including: Albert Einstein, Brigham Young and Francis Scott Key.
