  The Rhythm Section

 Lesson 1 - Segment 1

Learning Objective:  To teach the student the meaning of "rhythm" through a practical demonstration that combines auditory, visual and tactile stimuli.

Teaching Method:  The student will clap hands in time with a single-tempo musical piece (Mexican Hat Dance), combined with highlighted lyrics.

We always begin with the signal:

"One, two, ready, play"
