The Piano Buying Process

Choosing just the right piano for your home can be one of life’s real pleasures – and our goal is to see that it is. We know from over thirty years’ experience that customers who are willing to spend a little time at the beginning of the process will have the best chance of owning the instrument most suited to their needs. 

To help us help you, we have developed a Prospective Owner’s Guide, a very simple form which will provide us with information we request prior to your visit to our shop. We will then be in a position to carefully preselect a piano for your review, an instrument which conforms to specific criteria based on room size, layout, décor, acoustics and environment. 

We will also work with you to determine cabinet styling, color, finish, sheen, and other decorative considerations, as well as discuss the musical requirements, prospective use, action touch, and tonal voicing – all, of course, within the context of your budget.

We love to make our customers happy by taking the time to determine exactly the piano that will satisfy both your needs and your dreams.
